Overview
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry tasks and a passion for the restoration industry. This role involves working on diverse projects, including residential and commercial properties, where you will apply your expertise in construction and repair.
Duties
•
Perform carpentry work including door hanging, drywall installation, and siding applications.
•
Execute caulking and sealing tasks to ensure weatherproofing and aesthetic finishes.
•
Fabricate custom woodwork and cabinetry as per project specifications.
•
Participate in water damage restoration efforts by repairing and restoring affected areas.
•
Conduct construction painting to enhance the appearance of completed projects.
•
Collaborate with team members to assess project needs and provide accurate construction estimating.
•
Support maintenance person services for various maintenance tasks as required.
•
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety regulations.
Qualifications
•
Proven experience in carpentry with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
•
Familiarity with the restoration industry is preferred, particularly in water damage restoration techniques.
•
Proficiency in door hanging, caulking, drywall installation, siding, and construction painting.
•
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to fabricate solutions on-site as needed.
•
Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
•
Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
•
Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physical labor as required by the job.
