Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for precision and planning? Synnov Group, Inc. is looking for an experienced Senior Cost Estimator to join our team and play a critical role in delivering accurate and strategic project cost evaluations.

Role Overview:

The Senior Cost Estimator will be responsible for developing comprehensive cost estimates for programs and projects in accordance with the Program Cost Estimating and Procedures Manual. This role involves establishing reliable methods and utilizing current data to forecast present and future project costs. The Senior Cost Estimator will also support project planning and feasibility analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

•

Prepare cost estimates from early planning through 100% design and construction phases.

•

Quantify scope and apply appropriate labor, material, and equipment costs using up-to-date market data.

•

Maintain detailed documentation on scope changes, assumptions, exclusions, and uncertainties.

•

Apply markups, escalation rates, and program-related soft costs to base estimates with supporting rationale.

•

Support project bid documentation by supplying key data including manpower, productivity metrics, and logistical requirements.

•

Collect and manage historical cost data to inform future project estimates.

•

Collaborate closely with engineering, design, construction, and implementation teams to align estimates with project requirements.

Qualifications:

•

5+ years of professional aviation, railway, and roadway estimating experience required.

•

Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.

•

Proficiency in HCSS, Bluebeam, and other industry-standard estimating software.

•

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

•

Able to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

•

Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
