Senior Engineer Resource Adequacy

Starting Salary Range: $129,500-$139,500- position is also eligible for an annual bonus if individual performance and company objectives are met.

Portfolio evolution and industry trends create a Reliability Imperative that requires transitional and transformational enhancements to be made to ensure continued system reliability within MISO footprint. As one of MISO’s key functions to facilitate the availability of adequate resource to reliably serve the load, Resource Adequacy is one of near-term priorities of MISO’s Market Redefinition initiatives to address the Reliability Imperative.

We are looking for a talented

who will help MISO identify and drive resource adequacy policy and tool enhancements in support of MISO Reliability Imperative framework and strategic priorities to reliably manage the portfolio transition. In this role, you will collaborate and facilitate discussions across many MISO functional areas, vendors, industry partners, regulators, and stakeholders to frame, evaluate and design solutions to meet current and future resource adequacy needs.

As the

you will also lead in-depth data analytics to identify resource adequacy trends and patterns of a changing portfolio, provide insights, and create visualization in an automated and intelligent way.
