About This Job

The Senior IT Solutions Analyst supports the Mosaic initiatives where custom developed applications require design around user interface/experience within the application portfolio, including mobile applications. This person will provide subject matter expertise in the areas of mobile application design and custom application design, especially around our mobile applications suite which requires more expertise in user experience. The duties also include providing solution alternatives and estimates, gathering, and interpreting requirements, designing, documenting and delivering solutions. Tier III support is also required. What will you do?* Participate in and execute on the delivery of Mosaic’s mobile strategy and application development engagements. Lead the design and development process while collaborating with team members and cross-functional teams to ensure best practice and functional applications are delivered. Focus of design/development will be in area of user experience and mobile-ready applications, while ensuring UI/UX standards remain consistent across the custom application portfolio and Mosaic. Define interaction models, user task flows, and UI specifications as well as communicate scenarios, end-to-end experiences, interaction models, and screen designs to project stakeholders. Provide hands-on design, documentation, and delivery of business process solutions in accordance with all IT policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines set forth by the appropriate governing bodies. This responsibility includes the direct involvement in the design and build steps, oversight review of custom developed applications design and build activities performed by the custom development team, documentation, and knowledge transfer of final solution to QA, training and service teams.

Works with the Manager, IT Application Delivery to stay abreast of UX trends and advancements to ensure mobile applications align with industry best practices and applications used at Mosaic. Maintain best practices relating to requirements definition, process/solution design, and solution implementation (delivery) which may include items such as design wireframes, mockups, and specifications.
Provides Application Tier 3 Support. Manage custom applications within Mosaic’s Mobile Device Management (MDM) Suite.
Prepare and/or review project proposals/business cases in solution design and alternatives. This also includes collaborating with project teams to understand the requirements and improvement potential in identified opportunities.
Actively participates and represents the Custom Development Team in all release planning and change control / change management activities pertaining to this position. Other job duties and projects as assigned.

What do you need for this role?* Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related area required. Bachelor's preferred.

5+ years of experience in Information Technology roles
3+ years of hands-on project experience in the design, configuration/development, and delivery of mobile solutions.
Strong graphic design skills, with a good understanding of typography, intuitive layouts, and palate development
Excellent understanding of user-experience design for mobile and the web, technology trends, demonstrable design skills, and ability to show relevant work
Proven ability to define solution strategies, build business cases, analyze systems requirements, develop process maps, and swim lanes, design and prototype solutions, define testing requirements and support procedures, and implement practical solutions.

Knowledge of developing within the .NET framework using UWP.
Knowledge and expertise in the delivery of solutions using the agile method of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Understanding of enabling components: security, infrastructure, mobile device management (MDM), application development environments (MADPs), user experience for mobile and operations support.
General knowledge of enterprise IT architectures, web services, and business processes.
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Visio and Project
Graphic Design Tools (e.g., Photoshop)
