We are looking for the Sr Field Service Manager North America for our Jenbacher Engine business in the Houston area.
Role Summary :
This position holder is responsible for the overall management of the Jenbacher US Field Services Team to fulfill the customer demands within the given guidelines for EHS, quality, productivity, budget and planning
Essential Responsibilities :
•Manages Field Service Staff Managers, Field Service Technicians, Tooling Center and Field Service Fleet Vehicle Staff
•Leads employees, agreeing targets, monitoring the achievement of targets, employee development, ensuring agreed staff training targets
•Accountability for the performance and results of the US Field Service team
•Ensures Field Service Staff operates with the highest engineering & EHS standards and in accordance with Jenbacher Technical Documentation
•Optimizes use of myplant Field Service Management tool within the team
•Ensures customer satisfaction, CSA-engine availability, whilst maintaining expected financial margins
•Develops and adapts KPIs for active management of the organizational unit (EHS, Quality, Productivity, Budget and Planning)
•Creates and adapts organizational structures and processes
•Responsible for Budget planning, monitoring and cost controlling
•Regular reporting and strategy coordination with the Regional Service Leader
•Accountable for resolving Field Service resources and operational issues/escalations
•Interfaces with employees and the internal departments as contact person for all service issues regarding technical and operational of Jenbacher gas engines
•Supports the Service Sales Managers in the preparation of offers, follow-up of offers and execution of the closing
•Participates in various project teams as per business need
Qualification Requirements :
•Multiple years of experience in managing a Field Service organization
•Bachelor degree technical or substantive qualifying experience in Energy or Power Gen industry
•Experience in working with Oracle ERP (or similar), Microsoft Office applications, technical databases
•Technical background ideally in reciprocating engines - Jenbacher gas engine experience would be beneficial
•Fluency in English, verbally and written is a must
•Leadership skills and experience
•Project Management skills
•Excellent level of communication and relationship building skills
•Willingness to travel up to 30%
•Lives in the Houston area or open to relocate
