Description

Scope of Work:

Repair and overhaul of industrial natural gas engines

Primary Job Responsibilities

•

Assist the service manager with supervisory duties

•

Must be able to work alone on engine/compressor packages or engine/generator packages and be professional on their assignments

•

Understands engine electric controls

•

Understands engine governing systems including electronic controls

•

Can perform all work associated with gas compressor revamp

•

Stay informed of the latest changes in the various models of equipment

•

Ensure that all jobs are completed and that the work was done in a proficient and safe manner

•

Promote good welfare among the company and its’ divisions

•

Perform other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

•

Must have 4 year(s) previous experience

•

Must have G.E.D. High School Diploma, prefer applied certification (s) job description

•

Must meet all of the qualifications of a Service Tech Class A

•

Must have advance troubleshooting skills

•

Certification in WED VHP technology and VGF technology preferred

Requirements: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA’s)

•

Must have a working knowledge of the above titled position and how it relates to the overall business and its’ objectives

•

Must meet goals and objectives set forth by the company

•

Must conform to company policies and procedures set forth by the company

•

Must have a current driver’s license and acceptable driving record per WPI insurance carrier standard if driving company vehicle

•

Must be able to pass and maintain drug and alcohol testing requirement as outlined by the Department of Transportation

•

Must be computer literate, a Windows based environment preferred (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, Outlook)

•

Must be dependable and able to work independently

•

Must be able to lift 50 pounds

•

Must be able to bend and twist several times a day

•

Must have the ability to work flexible hours and days

•

Must maintain good client relations

•

Must maintain a professional appearance

•

Must promote and maintain a clean, neat and safe work environment

•

Must have the ability to travel and stay overnight

•

Must have the ability to supervise and motivate others

•

Must have the ability to effectively operate basic shop equipment

•

Must have the ability to obtain advanced manufacture certifications

•

Must protect the company assets and interests

Working Conditions

•

Typical hours of work Monday through Friday; 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

•

Weekend hours as necessary

•

Outside work as required

•

Customers locations as required
