Typical Duties
•
Plan, layout and install low, medium and high pressure ductwork, air distribution accessories and associated equipment for commercial, industrial and institutional heating and air conditioning work.
•
Locate, measure and outline installation areas from construction drawings.
•
Drill holes, attach brackets, hangers and other holding devices.
•
Install ductwork, air distribution accessories and related equipment such as air handling units, fans, coil banks, levers, dampers, plenum casings, VAV boxes, etc.
•
Use of basic hand and power tools.
•
Assist with moving, loading, unloading and distribution of material and parts.
•
Set equipment such as coils, fans, and roof top units.
•
Work from elevated positions
Qualifications
•
Must have minimum of 2 years of sheet metal experience.
•
Ability to follow detailed instructions.
•
Can-do attitude
