Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Receiving Lead to oversee the receiving operations within our warehouse. This role is crucial for ensuring that all incoming shipments are processed efficiently and accurately, maintaining the integrity of our inventory management system. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations and a strong understanding of order fulfillment processes.
Duties
•
Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the receiving team to ensure timely and accurate processing of incoming shipments.
•
Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory levels and manage stock efficiently.
•
Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to unload, move, and store incoming packages safely.
•
Conduct quality checks on received goods to ensure they meet company standards and specifications.
•
Collaborate with other departments to facilitate smooth order fulfillment and resolve any discrepancies in inventory.
•
Train new employees on receiving procedures, safety protocols, and equipment operation.
•
Maintain a clean and organized receiving area to promote safety and efficiency.
Skills
•
Proven experience in a warehouse environment, with a strong understanding of warehouse operations.
•
Proficiency in operating forklifts and other material handling equipment.
•
Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and materials requirements planning (MRP).
•
Knowledge of order fulfillment processes, including order picking and packaging for e-commerce.
•
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate stock management.
•
Basic math skills for inventory tracking and reporting purposes.
•
Excellent communication skills to effectively lead a team and collaborate with other departments.

Pay: $19.06 - $23.00 per hour
