POSITION SUMMARY:
The Shipping & Receiving Coordinator Level 2 is responsible for operating a motor vehicle to deliver and pick up various materials as well as assist the Assembly Department by completing various functions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Shipping & Receiving Coordinator Level 2 is accountable for the following functions and responsibilities:
•Qualified to operate a WellBoss forklift (certified).
•Understand packaging schedule.
•Interpretation of packing slips and bills of lading.
•Count, sort, and label inventory items.
•Move material to and from designated areas.
•Identify shipment dimensions with tape measure.
•Contain product within complete pallets with automatic pallet wrapper.
•Operate WellBoss company vehicle according to policy.
•Secure loads for transport via truck.
•Interpret maps and directions.
•Package finished product without assistance.
•Intermediate operation of department related software.
•Identify inventory movement requirements.
•Basic knowledge of setting tools.
•Base level understanding of prints.
•Utilize basic part inspection equipment such as gauges and calipers.
•Refurbish and inspect returned setting kits/tools.
•Assemble new setting kits.
•Understanding on vendor related quality documentation.
•Process Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs).
•Perform other functions and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
The Shipping & Receiving Coordinator Level 2 must at a minimum possess the following:
•A minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
•One year of experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred.
•Possess a clean driving record with no more than two moving violations or at-fault accidents in the last three years.
•Ability to work in a team-oriented, high-pressured, and fast-paced environment.
•Ability to comprehend production requirements.
•Be able to speak, read, and write the English language fluently is preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
The Shipping & Receiving Coordinator Level 2 must be able to:
•Lift a minimum of 50lbs, repeatedly, without assistance and up to 100lbs with assistance.
•Push/pull heavy objects with the proper equipment.
•Wear the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment when required (i.e., safety glasses or side shields, steel-toe footwear, etc.).
•Stand for long periods of time; up to 8-12 hours a day.
