Shipping Specialist

As a Shipping Specialist you will be responsible for operating a forklift to safely and efficiently move materials, components, and finished products throughout the facility. Your expertise in operating a forklift and your adherence to safety protocols will contribute to the smooth flow of materials and support the overall operations of our facility.
Schedule: M-Fri 7am-3:30pm
Hourly Rate: Starting at $21/hour
Skills & Abilities:
•
Drive a forklift safely throughout the facility.
•
Manage orders for picking and loading.
•
Load and unload trailers.
•
Pick material as required by customer order.
•
Bundle cartons, package and label material as necessary and move material to staging area.
•
Inspect material for quality and accuracy.
•
Plan and build necessary blocking to ensure material is secure in trailer.
•
Use necessary material handling equipment to accomplish tasks.
•
May be required to spot empty trailers at shipping dock and move loaded trailers to trailer parking area.
•
Ability to understand M1 (ERP System)
•
Monitor, exercise, and encourage good housekeeping.
•
Strict adherence to safety practices.
