Shop Technician

Shop Technician - this position is located in Grande Prairie, AB No experience necessary, we will train you! This position will ideally progress into the candidate attending trade school.

ROLE STATEMENT:

The Shop Technician will be a member of the Maintenance Department responsible for greasing components, taking oil samples, and changing fluids and filters as per the Maintenance schedule, assisting the Pump Coordinator(s) with fluid end repair and maintenance as well as maintaining a safe and clean working environment in the maintenance shop. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Shop Technician will focus on working with Mechanics and Electronics Technicians to facilitate equipment preventative maintenance, general labour duties in the pump shop and the basic upkeep of the maintenance shop, assisting the Parts department and other maintenance staff while adhering to all safety policies and procedures.
