Job Title: Sr. Quality Engineer II

Department: Manufacturing

Reports to: Quality Engineer Manager

Job Description: The Sr. Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring that products and processes meet established quality standards and regulatory requirements. This role involves developing and implementing quality assurance procedures, conducting inspections and tests, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement. Assist Quality Manager in developing colleagues, writing SOPs, and improving operations.

Responsibilities:

+ Develop and implement quality assurance policies, procedures, and standards. + Conduct regular inspections and testing of products and processes to ensure compliance with quality specifications. + Review and analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement. + Monitor and ensure compliances for in-process setting and requirement. + Ensure outgoing product meets the specification requirements + ISO ownership. To ensure all documentation in-place. + Collaborate with engineering and production teams to develop and implement process improvements aimed at enhancing product quality and efficiency. + Use quality improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean) to drive continuous improvement initiatives. + Conduct root cause analysis of quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions. + Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of quality assurance activities, including inspection reports, test results, and process changes. + Prepare and present detailed reports on quality performance, trends, and improvement initiatives. + Ensure that all quality-related documentation complies with industry regulations and standards. + Evaluate and monitor the quality of materials and components provided by suppliers. + Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards. + Work with suppliers to resolve quality issues and implement improvements. + Ensure that products and processes comply with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements. + Stay updated on changes to regulations and standards affecting quality assurance practices. + Prepare and facilitate regulatory audits and inspections as required. + Provide training and guidance to production staff on quality standards, procedures, and best practices. + Support the development and implementation of quality training programs. + Assist in the resolution of quality-related issues and provide technical support to teams. + Develop and maintain quality control plans and procedures. + Oversee the calibration and maintenance of quality control equipment. + Ensure that quality control measures are effectively integrated into production processes.
