FIDELITY MANUFACTURING is part of the backup Power Generation Industry. We design and build back up power packages (to include tanks and enclosures) for large and small health, industrial, and technology-oriented businesses that cannot have a power lapse at any time.

We are looking to hire a Structural Engineer with excellent mathematical and analytical skills. Structural Engineers are expected to be detail oriented, creative and possess excellent problem-solving skills. Background check and pre-employment drug screening required.

To ensure success, Structural Engineers should display an investigative nature and must be accurate, commercially aware and have great communication skills with a keen interest in ensuring the safety and physical integrity of framing, anchorage and other structures. Top candidates will have fantastic project and budget management skills with great knowledge of IBC, ASCE 7, FL. Building Code, construction processes, materials and legal regulations.

Qualifications

Professional Engineer License (state of Florida required). Willing to acquire license in other states. (Registered with NCEES). Physical Requirements: This is an office environment buy may be need to be outside periodically. This will require standing and/or sit for long periods of time; walk on non-forgiving surfaces such as concrete, wood, and metal (to include metal or fiberglass ramps placed on 30 degree angles); climb stairs, balance, climb, stoop, crouch, and crawl; walk on hilly and uneven ground; use hands to handle and feel; reach with hands; lift push, pull, and/or move more than 50 lbs without a mechanical aid and communicate with others.
