Supervisor Distribution Planning

Reporting to the Regional Manager, the Supervisor Distribution Planning will be responsible for the effective operation of this key department which includes the management and leadership of the electrical distribution planning team. The candidate will be responsible for providing guidance on the development and implementation of electrical distribution system plans, considering budgets and deadlines as well as related actions for improvement in incident prevention and output quality. This position is also responsible for maintaining the GIS/OMS and project management of the electrical systems throughout the service area. This position will reinforce the company’s core values, the health and safety policies/procedures and comply with all external legislation and standards.

The incumbent will have practical knowledge of industry rules, common electrical utility practices, regulations (such as but not limited to the OEB, CEC, and EUSA) and a demonstrated competency to maintain positive customer relationships, work with external consultants, foster harmonious labour relations, provide support as required and seek process improvement opportunities.
