Supervisor - Gas Technical Training Instructor

Overview:

Rhode Island Energy is looking for a Supervisor to lead their Gas Technical Training Instructor team. This position has three primary responsibilities: 1) Provide leadership, direction, and feedback to a team of instructors (each with a specific discipline) to deliver training to high-impact job classifications (for example: Linemen, Electricians, Mechanics, Technicians, Operators, Gas Technicians, Meter Techs, etc.) 2) Lead Technical Training Specialist and Subject Matter Experts through the process of developing training curriculum and courses 3) Provide leadership guidance (feedback, coordination with Field Supervisors and Managers) to those participating in our apprenticeship schools (e.g., Line/Substation Electrician School, Gas School, Generation School, etc.) Responsibilities:

Essential Functions* Supervise Technical Training and Work Procedures Specialists, Bargaining Unit instructors, and contractors in the development and delivery of training to support technical curriculums. Manage the accuracy and quality of recordkeeping and the learning itself.

+ Gas supervisor: including all gas progression schools, Continuing Ed/Annual Expert Training, Operator Qualification education, etc. + Electrical Supervisor: including Line progression school, Substation/Network Electrician progression School, other electrical progressions, Continuing Ed programs, etc. + Generation Supervisor: Including Mechanical/Instrumentation progression, Electrical progression, Continuing ed programs

Qualifications:

Required Education & Experience* High school diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications* 2-years of Leadership experience
