Responsible for planning, programming, and running machine demonstrations to support all activities in the Center, including customer tests, new product release support, training, events, customer visits, sales and marketing support.

Key Responsibilities

•

Plans, prepares, and conducts technical training courses for direct and distributors’ customers, internal employees and distributors’ employees.

•

Operate and program all CNC Machines in the center, with ISO codes and CAM programming.

•

Work together with fellow Center Technicians in the daily work and follow up tasks.

•

Drive & support the new product release introductions (customer CP, open house, films, demos, display tools)

•

Responsible for the overall planning of activities in the center covering the following activities:

•

Coordinates all activities and planning needed in connection to customer projects (sales, machining R&D, etc.)

•

Maintain the training/machine calendar for the center. Keeping the Center Calendar activity entries up to date

•

Works collaboratively as cross functional team with Marketing, OMRD, FLS, PEMS to develop Center usage.

•

Responsible to deliver to a world class customer experience in the Center: An “how can I contribute to the sales” approach in everything we do.

•

Actively take part in 5S-activities in SCC, making sure the Center is clean and tidy 24/7

•

Support SAA Training & Center manager in budget and forecast to follow up the situation of center related operational costs vs. plans.

•

Support EHS Manager in EHS related topics related to the center to contribute to a safety-first culture in SCC.

•

General coordination with different functions and external contacts as maintenance companies etc. in center/facility related issues

•

Follow the preparation process for upcoming activities certain time in advance, contacting stakeholders and adjust necessary steps to proceed.

•

Update SCC statistics (SharePoint site) and follow up performance with technician team, ensuring project Sales Pipelines connection to Center resources in Dynamics.

•

Challenge ways of working and push for efficiency by proposing actions to improve business performance. Benchmarking to identify and propose new developments within your activities.

•

Working actively for more digital within center by proposing and implementing relevant actions (e-learning, connectivity with other locations, virtual reality, etc)

Your profile & Required Competencies

•

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in metal cutting experience.

•

Min. 5 years of experience in metal cutting applications and tools.

•

Excellent knowledge about Metal Cutting tools and applications.

•

High level of knowledge in Metal Cutting Technologies, CNC machines, CAM, Post processing, Mastercam/NX/Gibbs CAM.

•

Very good working knowledge of MS Office applications such as Office 365 applications.

•

Strong communication and sociability skills.

•

Excellent knowledge of English.

•

Understanding and acting based on the Sandvik Coromant Business Strategy.

•

Leadership.
