Responsibilities: Trailer Mechanic
•
1st Shift Mon-Fri: 8-hour shifts
•
Shop Hours are 7am - 4pm some shifts vary for coverage
•
Overtime is available
•
Must be able to complete annual FMCSA Inspections
•
Troubleshoot lights/electrical systems
•
Experience with brake and suspension repairs
•
Experience with repairing doors, panels, crossmembers, etc.
•
Troubleshoot ABS system
•
Welding experience
•
Fabrication experience is preferred
Tractor Mechanic:
•
Trailer Mechanic competencies
•
Complete troubleshooting, repairs and rebuilds on tractor/power equipment
•
Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections and the required documentation
•
Test and verify repaired equipment for proper performance and ensure the work meets quality standards, manufacturer's specifications and associated regulations
Requirements:
•
High mechanical aptitude
•
Minimum 1-year direct experience preferred
•
Must have own tools
•
Physically able to lift up to 75 pounds
•
Proficiency with maintenance and repair tools
•
Attention to detail
•
Good attendance and punctuality record
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
