We are currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Journeyman to join our team. The Maintenance Journeyman will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of various equipment and systems within our facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to maintenance tasks.

Perform routine maintenance and inspections on machinery, HVAC systems, electrical systems, and other facility equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues, and perform necessary repairs in a timely manner to minimize downtime.

Implement and adhere to a preventive maintenance schedule for all equipment and systems to prevent breakdowns and minimize disruptions to operations.

Ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out in compliance with safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment for employees.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs performed, and parts used, using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) or other documentation tools.

Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and address urgent issues to minimize production delays and safety hazards.

Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and new technologies related to maintenance and participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, with the ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of equipment and machinery.

Previous experience in maintenance roles, with a proven track record of performing maintenance and repair tasks effectively and efficiently.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes of equipment failures and implement effective solutions.

Commitment to adhering to safety protocols and regulations, with a focus on ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and management.

Relevant certifications or licenses in maintenance-related fields (e.g., HVAC, electrical, plumbing) may be preferred.
