Manage warehouse operations, inventory control, and product delivery at Spindletop Energy Products. This role requires maintaining accurate records, optimizing storage and distribution efficiency, ensuring timely order fulfillment, and providing reliable delivery services to customers while upholding safety standards. The ideal candidate will be proactive, dependable, and experienced in both warehouse operations and commercial driving, supporting the company's service-first approach.
· Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and stock movements.
· Track incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring proper documentation and processing
· Perform regular cycle counts, reconciling physical inventory with system records to identify discrepancies.
· Monitor stock levels and work with your assigned branch manager to assist in reordering products as needed.
· Oversee the proper storage and organization of products to ensure quick retrieval and efficient space utilization.
· Ensure compliance with safety regulations and warehouse standards.
· Coordinate the loading and unloading of goods and materials.
· Prepare items for shipment and ensure that all orders are properly packed and labeled.
· Accurately enter inventory data into our QuickBooks Inventory Warehouse System.
· Generate inventory reports, helping identify potential stock issues or inefficiencies.
· Provide reports on stock levels, discrepancies, and other key performance indicators.
· Work closely with other departments (procurement, sales, and shipping) to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery.
· Communicate with our inside group and our vendors regarding any discrepancies.
· Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
· Address inventory-related issues such as damage, misplacement, or theft.
● Able to operate a forklift, basic computer skills
● 1-2 years warehouse / inventory control experience a plus
● Physical ability to lift 50 lbs. regularly
● Valid driver's license with clean driving record
● Ability to identify and resolve issues that arise in picking, packing, or shipping process.
● Knowledge of workplace safety standards and the ability to avoid accidents.
● A strong desire to get the job done correctly and efficiently.
● Professional demeanor for customer interactions during deliveries
● Extended periods of standing, walking, and sitting while driving
● Ability to climb in and out of delivery vehicles multiple times per day
● Manual dexterity for operating vehicle controls and handling packages
