Duties and Responsibilities

•

Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing programs.

•

Receiving and documenting merchandise for delivery or return

•

Keeping an inventory of all merchandise entering or exiting the warehouse accurately

•

Identifying any missing, lost, or damaged materials and immediately notify the General Manager

•

Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts and reconciles with data storage systems.

•

Managing all merchandise with appropriate care

•

Achieves financial objectives scheduling expenditures, and analyzing variances.

•

Maintains the physical condition of the warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts.

Skills and Qualifications

•

Prior Experience working in a Warehouse

•

Knowledge of operating a forklift

•

Ability to carry loads up to 80 pounds

•

Ability to work independently and safely

•

Effective Time Management skills

•

Effective oral and written communication skills

•

Strong leadership and management skills

•

Understanding of safety rules

•

Knowledge of general software and applications

A good Shop Supervisor has an excellent work ethic and is always looking for tasks to keep them busy. They are self-starters that look for ways to contribute to their team and exceed their production goals. Good Material Handlers have a strong memory that allows them to recall information about products, shipping details and the warehouse layout so they can easily access the inventory they need. They are great verbal and written communicators and are able to record their workflows according to company policy. Also may be required to order items upon request by General Manager

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
