Liftech Elevator Services, Inc., is a leading provider of elevator repair, modernization, and maintenance services throughout the region.
Position Overview
We are looking for a dedicated Warehouse Manager who would be maintaining the warehouse, inventory, managing drivers, and scheduling. You will also play a pivotal role to the operations day-to-day by delivering parts, materials, and tools to job sites and performing the essential functions listed below:
Key Responsibilities:
Operations Management
•
Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.
•
Supervise warehouse team of 2-5 employees.
•
Develop and implement standard operating procedures for handling elevator components.
•
Ensure proper storage conditions for sensitive equipment and maintain climate-controlled environments where required.
•
Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics of the warehouse drivers.
•
Oversee proper use of material handling equipment including cranes, forklifts, and specialized lifting devices
•
Transport and deliver goods to and from the designated job site.
•
Hire, Train, and Review warehouse staff. Must have leadership skills.
•
Manage and distribute daily delivery schedules.
•

Inventory Management
•
Manage inventory of elevator components including controllers, motors, cables, rails, door systems, safety devices, and related parts
•
Maintain accurate inventory levels.
•
Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
•
Coordinate with the purchasing team to maintain optimal stock levels.
•
Monitor and track critical/emergency parts for rapid deployment to service calls.
Safety & Compliance
•
Implement and enforce strict safety protocols for handling heavy elevator components.
•
Ensure OSHA compliance and maintain warehouse safety standards.
•
Manage proper storage and handling of hazardous materials per regulations.
•
Conduct regular safety training and maintain incident-free operations.
Quality Control
•
Inspect incoming elevator components for damage and conformance to specifications
•
Maintain chain of custody for critical safety components.
•
Implement quality control procedures for parts distribution.
Required Qualifications
•
Minimum 5 years of warehouse management experience, preferably in construction, manufacturing, or industrial equipment sectors
•
Experience managing teams of 5+ employees
•
Experience with material handling equipment and heavy machinery operations
•
Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain)
Preferred Qualifications
•
Experience in elevator/vertical transportation industry
•
Knowledge of elevator components preferred but not required.
•
Experience with lean warehouse practices and continuous improvement methodologies
•
Bilingual capabilities (English/Spanish)

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Must have a valid CA driver’s license and a clean driving record.
•
Able to pass a drug test and background check.
•
Previous experience with driving 21' stake bed.
Working Conditions
•
Full-time position, Monday-Friday.
•
Warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures
•
Emergency on-call responsibility for critical parts delivery
•
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
Compensation & Benefits
•
Competitive salary range: $55,000 - $75,000 annually (commensurate with experience)
