Wastewater / Collection System Operations Specialist

Midwest Contract Operations, Inc. (MCO) is seeking a self-motivated and reliable individual to join our operations team. Principal duties will include operations and maintenance of a wastewater collection system and the associated pumping stations, and coordinating with outside contractors when required. A general working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or collection systems is required, and varying levels of experience will be considered. This position requires a valid driver’s license and MVR search, and the candidate to maintain residency within 30 miles of Fox Lake, WI. Candidates should have a mechanical aptitude, work well individually and with others, and feel comfortable communicating with other team members. This position requires the ability to stand for several hours at a time, stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, twist, lift up to 50 lbs., and maintain clean and organized work areas. The candidate must be willing to use appropriate safety equipment when required.

This is a full-time position with a work schedule during weekdays with some weekend, and on-call work required. The wage range for qualifying applicants is $28 to $34/hour based upon experience.
