Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Wastewater Operator to join our team at Operations Services, Inc. This position is critical in ensuring the effective treatment of wastewater and maintaining the operational integrity of our facilities, contributing to our commitment to exceptional service.
Responsibilities
•
Operate and monitor wastewater treatment equipment to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
•
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
•
Collect and analyze samples for testing to monitor water quality.
•
Assist in troubleshooting mechanical issues and implementing solutions promptly.
•
Maintain accurate records of operations, maintenance activities, and data collection.
•
Collaborate with team members to improve operational processes and efficiency.
•
Conduct inspections of facilities and equipment to identify potential issues.
•
Ensure safety protocols are followed during all operations.
Qualifications
•
Proven experience in wastewater treatment operations or a related field.
•
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to repair and maintain equipment effectively.
•
Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is preferred.
•
Ability to analyze data and research findings for informed decision-making.
•
Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and collaboration.
•
Physical capability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties.
•
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
