Water Engineering Intern - Summer 2025

OUC – The Reliable One, an industry leader and the second-largest municipal utility in Florida, is offering an internship program in the OU.DIVISION division.

We are looking for a Water Engineering Intern - Summer 2025. During the internship, you will interface with various in-house software platforms utilizing oracle database systems (ePets, storms, and CC&B). You will manipulate and populate large sets of data to develop flow basis for all OUC services. You will analyze irrigation services and acreage as well as utilize irrigation calculation spreadsheets to support new irrigation block rate structures.

Academic status of sophomore, junior, or senior.

Water Distribution Engineering oversees and approves all engineering done on OUC’s water system. This includes all pipes, services, hydrants, valves, demand flow, hydraulic modeling, etc.

OUC Internship Rewards Package Includes:

Location: Gardenia, 3800 Gardenia Avenue, Orlando 32839

Compensation: $17.50 - $21.00 per hour, varies depending on the education level

Schedule: Full-Time (up to 40 hours per week) – Hybrid Schedule
