Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Well Tender to join our team in the oil and gas industry. The Well Tender will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of oil wells, ensuring that all equipment is functioning properly and that production is maximized. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, experience with heavy equipment, and a commitment to safety and efficiency.
Responsibilities
•
Monitor equipment and flows closely
•
Input production data into appropriate software
•
Must be able to troubleshoot issues and repair/replace components on route as needed
•
Work on compressors as well as conventional wells
•
Pull charts on a monthly basis and report to supervisor about production
•
Master daily route and expectations
•
Follow all of Mountain V’s safety guidelines
•
Comfortable with potential call outs on nights and weekends
Requirements
•
Proven experience in the oil and gas industry, particularly in roles related to well tending or rig operations.
•
Ability to prioritize wells and routes as needed
•
Excellent time management skills with ability to meet deadlines
•
Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
•
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
•
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Education
•
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
•
3+ years of well tending experience preferred
•
Driver’s License required
