Mid-South Metals is seeking a qualified candidate for an Accounts Payable position.

Mid-South Metals was founded in 2005 and has 5 manufacturing facilities in Shreveport, Houston, Fort Worth, and Tulsa. Our central office is located in Shreveport, Louisiana. We are a 1st and 2nd stage metal plate processor. We use Plasma, Waterjet, Laser, and Oxy-Fuel CNC cutting machines as well as press brake and CNC Machining in-house capabilities. Job Overview:

The Accounts Payable position is responsible for processing and managing incoming invoices and payments, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies. This role plays a key part in maintaining strong vendor relationships and supporting the overall efficiency of the accounting department.

Key Responsibilities:

-Review and process invoices in accordance with internal procedures

-Verify vendor accounts and reconcile statements

-Ensure timely and accurate payment of invoices

-Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve discrepancies in a professional manner

-Maintain accurate and organized documentation

-Assist with month-end processes as necessary

-Collaborate with purchasing and receiving departments to ensure proper approvals and receipt of goods/services
