Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Master Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of electrical systems, including high and low voltage applications. This role involves working on various projects, from renovations to new builds, ensuring compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and maintaining safety standards. The Master Electrician will be responsible for overseeing electrical installations, troubleshooting issues, and mentoring junior electricians.
Responsibilities
•Lead and manage electrical projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and adherence to specifications.
•Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems.
•Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for installation, maintenance, and repair tasks.
•Conduct inspections of electrical systems to ensure they meet safety standards and comply with NEC regulations.
•Troubleshoot electrical problems using an ohmmeter and other diagnostic tools.
•Collaborate with construction teams during renovations and new builds to integrate electrical systems seamlessly.
•Provide guidance and training to junior electricians, fostering a culture of safety and excellence.
•Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project timelines.
Requirements
•Valid Master/Administrator Electrician license or equivalent certification.
•Extensive experience in electrical work, including high voltage and low voltage systems.
•Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics related to electrical installations.
•Strong knowledge of NEC standards and safety regulations.
•Ability to operate various hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
•Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
•Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
•Physical ability to perform tasks that may involve lifting heavy equipment or working in confined spaces.

Pay: $44.81 - $72.50 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 70 per week
