We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Batch Operator to join our concrete production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating batching equipment, accurately mixing raw materials, and maintaining high quality standards throughout the production process. This role is essential to ensuring our concrete meets project specifications and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
•
Operate and monitor automated and manual concrete batching systems.
•
Accurately measure and combine raw materials (cement, aggregates, water, admixtures) according to approved mix designs.
•
Maintain consistent product quality by following batching procedures and making necessary adjustments.
•
Conduct daily equipment inspections and report any operational or mechanical issues.
•
Monitor moisture levels in aggregates and adjust water content accordingly.
•
Coordinate with dispatch and quality control teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery.
•
Troubleshoot and escalate any production or mechanical concerns.
•
Keep the batching area clean and follow all safety procedures.
•
Assist with equipment calibration and maintain accurate production logs.
•
Comply with all company safety policies and use proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
Qualifications:
•
1–2 years of experience in concrete batching or a related industrial role preferred.
•
Familiarity with batching software (e.g., Command Alkon, Marcotte) is a plus.
•
Strong mechanical skills and attention to detail.
•
Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and documentation.
•
Computer skills.
•
Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in outdoor conditions.
•
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
