Director of Business Development

Duties include but are not limited to:
•Setting monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals and objectives and provide direction for their attainment.
•Ensuring the company's sales budget is properly developed, prepared, implemented, and coordinated with other department heads. This will establish sales and marketing quotas.
•Ability to be aware of variances in the budget and be able to explain and/or take corrective action for those involving sales, promotional or advertising expenses.
•Recognizing that programs, including advertising and promotional material, are established to enhance the image and market recognition of Redi Services.
•Ensuring the marketplace is researched and competitive activities in the areas of advertising, promotion and pricing are observed and evaluated and that the necessary policies and programs are developed to keep Redi Services competitive, yet profitable.
•Ability to recognize the activities of current and potential customers and be prepared to contact them with proposals for supplying their overall needs.
•Adhering to company credit policy and procedures.
•Completing and submitting all required reports in a complete, accurate, and timely manner.
•Maintaining revenues and expenses of the department within established guidelines to deliver the budgeted contribution to gross margin.
•Maintaining an awareness of business and market related trends including new product or service offerings and determining the impact of any changes or activities that could affect Redi Services, LLC.
•Ensuring that all proposals and contracts are processed and that any information required to complete client billings is given to the accounting department in a timely manner.
•Acting as the liaison with the internal operations of the company. This will facilitate meeting customer's expectations and maintain goodwill for future business.
•Ensuring new customers are sought out, and sales presentations are prepared which will serve to expand Redi Services, LLC's customer base and to grow the business.
•Meeting regularly with other managers and with selected personnel in other operating departments to ensure that sales information flows both horizontally and vertically throughout the organizational chart and to ensure that goals and objectives are achieved.
•Following up on leads for area of responsibility, tracking and reporting on contacts, discussions, request for quotes, etc.
•Representing the company at community functions, speaking engagements, etc.
•Performing employee performance evaluations for all staff that report to you directly.
•Developing and maintaining a customer profile detailing name, address, email, phone, fax, contact person, products or services sold, products purchased, competing markets, etc. Maintaining a due date file and following up on projects that have not been approved to date.
•Performing other related duties as assigned by the CSO.
Education:
Required: BS/BA in Marketing, Sales, or related field
Experience Required:
A minimum of 10 years of Sales Managerial Experience in a similar environment
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
The use of analytical and observational skills which demonstrate an ability to organize, budget, forecast, and control sales and projects. Excellent people skills and the ability to communicate well with customers, employees, etc.
