Carpenter Apprentice

Overview

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Carpenter Apprentice. This position provides an opportunity to learn the carpentry trade through hands-on experience and mentorship by seasoned professionals. As a Carpenter Apprentice, you will help journeyman carpenters in constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials. Our ideal candidates are eager to learn, motivated, and have a basic understanding of carpentry tools and techniques.

Duties

- Assist in the construction of various structures

- Learn to read and interpret blueprints and building specifications

- Support in framing walls, floor and roof systems, install doors and windows

- Clean and prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards

Skills

- Basic knowledge of carpentry tools and techniques

- Interest in learning various aspects of carpentry including remodeling and fabrication

- Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team environment

- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn new skills

- Good physical condition and endurance

- Previous experience or coursework related to carpentry is a plus but not required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
