We are in search of carpenters that are interested in learning the air-conditioning trade.

We believe in hiring skilled technicians and giving them the autonomy and back office support to make their work life balance enjoyable.

Our work environment includes:

Your day would begin with receiving days assignment from the back office on your tablet. The backoffice will support and track your progress until your assignments are complete.

Throughout your day your mileage will be tracked by the back office and you will be paid 62.5 cents a mile. We pay weekly. We offer 401K with a 3 % match and 5 days of time off with pay. We also take 8 holidays per year.

The ideal candidate for this job will have an EPA license, reliable transportation and one to five years of HVAC experience.

Residential energy efficiency also known as home performance is a mature industry that started in the 70's as winter weatherization in cold climates. Over the last 5 decades, it has been proven that heating and air conditioning are the greatest consumers of electricity and gas in a home. By improving HVAC efficiency we lower the consumers utility bill ad reduce the strain on the electrical grid.

LHP is a leader in the state of Louisiana at improving the efficiency of HVAC systems through digital tune ups. You would be trained on how to perform digital tuneups in addition to other skills like duct blasting.

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
