We are searching for a Machinist to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be dependable, driven and hard working. The duties of this position include, but are not limited to:
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
•Be present, ready to work and on time for all scheduled hours.
•Set up and run manual Mills and Lathes
•Thread holes on a tapping table
•Countersink holes on manual mill or drill press
•Produce parts on previously set up CNC machines
•Inspect parts and monitor production process to ensure the quality and appearance meets or exceeds company standards.
•Utilize measuring equipment used in the industry such as calipers, micrometers, height gauge and other measuring equipment needed to complete work.
•Utilize production work orders and documents.
•Ensure all documentation is complete and correct.
•Use prescribed procedures to inspect parts produced to assure compliance to specifications that will eliminate defects, scrap, rework, etc. Ensure parts meet all Customer Quality requirements.
•Detect and report defective equipment, materials, and /or faulty operations to supervisor.
•Maintain equipment and work area on a daily basis in a clean and orderly condition.
•Follow prescribed work rules and standard safety regulations at all times.
•Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others and maintain them over time.
•Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiency.
•Other duties as deemed appropriate by supervisor and management.
QUALIFICATIONS
•High School diploma or equivalent
•Machinist Education or Equivalent experience
•Good verbal and written communication skills.
•Able to pass a pre-employment hair-follicle drug test.
