Job Overview
Seeking a CNC machinist/programmer to help us manufacture our lab automation and robotics products. The ideal candidate is experienced working on challenging projects while collaborating with fellow machinists and operators. Join our close-knit team and help us build our lab automation portfolio.
Responsibilities
•Write programs and setup Haas CNC mills to effectively meet engineering specifications.
•Collaborate with quality inspector to ensure parts meet drawing specifications.
•Collaborate with engineering to ensure successful outcomes for challenging parts.
•Operate CNC machines, deburr, and inspect parts as needed to achieve production deadlines.
•Instruct operators to ensure efficient production and develop operator skill sets.
•Using basic inspection equipment (calipers, micrometers, gauge pins, etc.) as necessary to ensure quality.
•Maintain a clean, safe and orderly work area.
•Perform other tasks as required to ensure efficient shop operation.
Qualifications
•At least 3 years’ experience programming CNC vertical machining centers.
•At least 1 years’ experience with MasterCam or Fusion 360.
•Experience programming and operating CNC lathes/turning centers a plus.
•Day Shift, 5x8 schedule, 7:30am - 4:00pm preferred, shift times flexible
•Ability to sit, stand, or walk for long periods of time. Ability to lift and manipulate machine vises weighing up to 70 lbs.
Skills
•Proficient with computer navigation, searching, processing, printing, surfing, etc.
•Will have good written and verbal communication.
•Will be able to perform mathematical calculations.
•Will be able to read and interpret technical drawings.
•Experience reading and interpreting GD&T preferred.
