Job Overview

Seeking a CNC machinist/programmer to help us manufacture our lab automation and robotics products. The ideal candidate is experienced working on challenging projects while collaborating with fellow machinists and operators. Join our close-knit team and help us build our lab automation portfolio.

Responsibilities

•

Write programs and setup Haas CNC mills to effectively meet engineering specifications.

•

Collaborate with quality inspector to ensure parts meet drawing specifications.

•

Collaborate with engineering to ensure successful outcomes for challenging parts.

•

Operate CNC machines, deburr, and inspect parts as needed to achieve production deadlines.

•

Instruct operators to ensure efficient production and develop operator skill sets.

•

Using basic inspection equipment (calipers, micrometers, gauge pins, etc.) as necessary to ensure quality.

•

Maintain a clean, safe and orderly work area.

•

Perform other tasks as required to ensure efficient shop operation.

Qualifications

•

At least 3 years’ experience programming CNC vertical machining centers.

•

At least 1 years’ experience with MasterCam or Fusion 360.

•

Experience programming and operating CNC lathes/turning centers a plus.

•

Day Shift, 5x8 schedule, 7:30am - 4:00pm preferred, shift times flexible

•

Ability to sit, stand, or walk for long periods of time. Ability to lift and manipulate machine vises weighing up to 70 lbs.

Skills

•

Proficient with computer navigation, searching, processing, printing, surfing, etc.

•

Will have good written and verbal communication.

•

Will be able to perform mathematical calculations.

•

Will be able to read and interpret technical drawings.

•

Experience reading and interpreting GD&T preferred.
