Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing CNC programs to produce precision components. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, technical schematics, and computer-aided design (CAD) software. The CNC Programmer will work closely with engineers and machinists to ensure that all specifications and quality standards are met.
Responsibilities
•Develop, modify, and optimize CNC programs for various machining operations.
•Interpret technical drawings and schematics to create accurate programming instructions.
•Utilize CAD software such as SolidWorks, CATIA, and CAM programming tools to design and simulate machining processes.
•Implement GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles in programming to ensure precision in production.
•Collaborate with machinists to troubleshoot programming issues and optimize machining performance.
•Conduct regular inspections using tools such as micrometers to ensure parts meet quality standards.
•Maintain documentation of all programming changes and updates for future reference.
•Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in CNC technology.
Experience
•Proven experience in CNC programming with a strong background in machining processes.
•Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, CATIA) and CAM programming tools.
•Familiarity with Fanuc controls is preferred.
•Knowledge of tooling requirements and setup for various machining operations.
•Understanding of GD&T principles is essential.
•Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics effectively.
