Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Bioenergy Engineer to join our team in Austin, Texas. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing innovative bioenergy solutions. The Bioenergy Engineer will play a vital role in the planning, implementation, and operations of bioenergy projects, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to industry standards.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and analysis to identify potential bioenergy opportunities and develop sustainable solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and optimize bioenergy systems, processes, and equipment
- Prepare technical reports, feasibility studies, and cost estimates for bioenergy projects
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of bioenergy systems, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and environmental standards
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, contractors, and regulatory agencies
- Stay updated with industry trends, advancements, and best practices in bioenergy engineering
Requirements:
- At least six years of experience in the field of bioenergy engineering or related field
- Bachelor's degree in Bioenergy Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Strong knowledge of bioenergy technologies, processes, and equipment
- Proficient in drafting and land acquisitions for bioenergy projects
- Experience in document reading and interpretation
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Organizational and time management skills
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
Salary Range: $50,000 - $80,000 per year (based on qualifications and experience)
