Job Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Reservoir Engineer to join our team in the Downstream Oil & Gas Industry. As a Reservoir Engineer, you will play a critical role in optimizing oil and gas production by analyzing and evaluating reservoir performance. You will work closely with a team of professionals to ensure the efficient extraction of petroleum resources.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct reservoir characterization and performance analysis to identify potential recovery methods.

- Utilize advanced reservoir simulation tools to model fluid flow and optimize production strategies.

- Analyze production data, well tests, and pressure data to identify reservoir performance issues and recommend solutions.

- Collaborate with drilling and production teams to develop and implement reservoir management plans.

- Monitor and evaluate production activities, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

- Conduct economic evaluations to assess the viability and profitability of new projects.

- Provide guidance and support to junior engineers and technicians.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related field.

- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Reservoir Engineer in the Oil & Gas industry.

- Strong knowledge of reservoir engineering principles, reservoir simulation, and relevant software tools.

- Proficient in the use of industry-standard software such as Eclipse, Petrel, and CMG.

- Familiarity with lease negotiation and understanding of related legal documents.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
