About This Job

As CNC Thermal Spray Coating Operator, you'll be responsible for disassembling, cleaning, inspecting, recording conditions, and reassembling reciprocating, turbo compressors, and steam turbines. As a team member, you'll contribute to safe, efficient, and customer-focused project completion, following Siemens-Energy’s safety and quality directives to maintain our reputation as the industry’s premier service provider.


How You’ll Make an Impact:

Operate conventional and CNC machines to fabricate, repair, and finish parts, ensuring precision and adherence to close tolerances.
Produce parts from drawings or samples and verify quality using precision tools (micrometers, gauges, calipers, etc.).
Deburr, grind, file, and fit parts made from various materials, removing burrs, fins, and sharp edges using power tools and hand tools.
Handle material with equipment such as hand trucks, forklifts, and cranes, ensuring smooth material flow.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency.
Collaborate with repair engineers and project managers to interpret drawings and complete repairs according to OEM standards.
Use tablets to record inspection data and monitor maintenance activities.


What You Bring:

2-5 years of mechanical experience or relevant technical training (travel may be required).
Proficient in reading and interpreting equipment drawings, repair manuals, and procedures.
Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
Basic computer skills and ability to use word processing software.
Ability to lift 25-50 lbs regularly and perform physical tasks effectively.
Travel Flexibility, Willingness to travel as required for the role.
Flexibility to work overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
