Are you ready to apply your knowledge in the real world? We are currently looking for an Engineering Co-op Student to join our Power Production – Point Tupper/Biomass team in a temporary position (May-August 2025) reporting to the Reliability Engineer
During your time with us, you will get to a variety of systems, equipment and processes required to generate electricity in a regulated utility. The education and co-op experience will provide the student with an understanding of thermal power generation practices, and specific knowledge of how a regulated power utility works. What you’ll do: We’ll treat you as one of our own and your key areas of responsibility will include:* The successful candidate will work with Power Production management and engineering to review boiler data collected throughout the year and input into reliability modelling software.
You will be responsible for your personal safety and that of co-workers, by observing and ensuring compliance with all Occupational Health and Safety Rules and Regulations.
Who you are:* The student must be enrolled in their 3rd or 4th year of their Engineering degree program.
