Pay Range: $30 - $50/hour (based on experience)
HTC Commercial Flooring is looking for experienced motivated Hourly FLooring (approx. 50/50) and approximately 30% travel to job sites. We're a growing company with a strong team culture and reputation for high-quality commercial work.
- Install a variety of commercial flooring products including carpet tile, VCT, LVT, sheet vinyl, rubber, epoxy, and other speciality Products.
- Read and interpret installation plans and specifications
- Prepare and level surfaces prior to installation
- Operate tools and equipment safely and effectively
- Communicate professionally with project managers, general contractors, and teammates.
- Must be comfortable with both day and night work
- Willingness to Travel (approx. 30%), sometimes overnight
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
- Must work well independently and as part of a team
- Competitive hourly pay ($30 - $50/hr depending on experience)

This position requires a flexible schedule with a balanced mix of day and night shifts. On average, installers can expect:
Typical hours: 6:00pm - 2:30 am (varies by project and building access)
Schedules will be assigned based on project needs, and advance notice will be provided whenever possible. Some weekend work may occasionally be required.
Roughly 30% of jobs require travel, including overnight stays. Travel expenses an per diem will be provided for out-of-town work. Each project has a defined set budgeted labor hours based on scope and material type. Installers are expected to work efficiently and professionally within the allocated hours to ensure project timelines and labor budgets are met.
While weekly hours may vary depending on job site schedules, the average installer can typically expect:
Occasional overtime may be available, depending on project deadlines
Installers are expected to clock in and out accurately, report any delays or issues that could affect timeline, and communicate proactively with supervisors if additional time is required.
