Senior Flooring Installer

A Senior Installer runs entire installations from start to finish, managing time, workflow, and sequencing to maximize efficiency. Core Responsibilities:

● Coordinate with clients, general contractors, and inspectors as needed.

● Train and mentor apprentices and junior installers.

● Serve as the point person for communication between teams, supervisors, and clients.

● Identify and resolve installation challenges (e.g., uneven floors, structural issues, moisture concerns).

● Adjusts methods or materials based on site conditions without compromising quality.

● Organize tasks, allocate labor efficiently, and keep projects on schedule.

● Read and interprets complex floor plans, blueprints, or CAD drawings.

● Executes intricate patterns with precision (e.g., herringbone, ashlar and 45 degree angle etc.).

● Proficient in installing all types of flooring, including specialty and custom systems.

● Resilient Sheet Flooring (Vinyl/Linoleum with Flash Cove): Expertly install resilient sheet flooring and flash cove, ensuring smooth transitions and high-quality seam management in complex projects.
