Positions Summary:
The Continuous Improvement Lead for Power Ends in Hydraulic Fracturing is responsible for identifying and implementing strategies to optimize the performance, reliability, and safety of power ends. This role will focus on monitoring and improving the design, operation, and maintenance of power ends, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve continuous improvement goals.
Essential Responsibilities:* Continuous Improvement:Lead initiatives to enhance power end performance through analysis, process improvements, and technological upgrades, with a focus on increasing operational efficiency and reducing unplanned downtime.
Collect and analyze data from power end equipment to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement. Use data-driven insights to recommend changes to operational practices and equipment designs.
Conduct root cause analysis of equipment failures, performance degradation, and operational challenges. Develop corrective actions and preventative measures to address recurring issues.
Work closely with operations, engineering, and maintenance teams to ensure the successful implementation of continuous improvement initiatives. Foster a collaborative culture focused on problem-solving and operational excellence.
Drive the development and implementation of reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) strategies for power end equipment. Oversee regular maintenance schedules and ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards.
Evaluate and optimize power end-related processes, including equipment installation, operation, and maintenance procedures. Implement best practices and standard operating procedures (SOPs) across all power end operations.
Identify opportunities to reduce costs associated with power end operations while maintaining high-quality and safety standards. Implement cost-effective solutions that improve productivity without compromising safety.
Provide training and mentoring to team members on best practices, troubleshooting, and maintenance techniques for power end systems. Develop training materials and programs to enhance skills and knowledge within the team.
Ensure that all power end operations comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Promote a safety-first culture by driving safety initiatives and conducting risk assessments.
Education and Experience:* BS degree in engineering, science, business, or related field preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:* Ability to read, speak and write English
