Contracts & Risk Specialist

to join our dynamic team in Oklahoma City. If you're passionate about data, problem-solving, and making a real impact, this is the perfect opportunity for you. The role will be responsible for the full lifecycle of commercial contracts and insurance, including negotiation, compliance, risk mitigation, and renewals. You will also coordinate with internal teams, legal counsel, and brokers to ensure proper coverage, support acquisitions, and maintain contractual integrity across the business.

Responsibilities:

Contracts Management:

•

Review, negotiate, and manage commercial contracts including MSAs, NDAs, consulting agreements, and other service agreements

•

Coordinate contract terms with internal stakeholders and legal counsel (internal/external) to ensure alignment with business goals and risk tolerance.

•

Maintain and update standard contract templates.

•

Ensure executed contracts are properly stored, indexed, and easily accessible.

•

Track contract expirations and proactively manage renewals or terminations.

•

Support business owners in understanding key terms, obligations, and risks of their contracts.

•

Confirm that contractual obligations (e.g., service levels, indemnity, insurance) are met by all parties.

•

Insurance Management:

•

Coordinate with BO and broker for insurance policy renewals

•

Own the vendor insurance compliance program across all basins

· Ensure alignment of company insurance policies with operational growth and M&A activity

•

Set insurance requirements in collaboration with Legal, Finance, and PSCM

•

Analyze vendor COIs for proper coverage and exceptions

•

Serve as the point of contact for insurance-related contract provisions

•

Support claim investigations and ensure timely resolution

•

Advise on risk implications during vendor onboarding or project planning

Required Qualifications:

· 5+ years of Contract Management
or related experience.

· Previous experience with coordinating insurance renewals is considered a plus.

· Detail-oriented, highly organized, with proven ability to prioritize competing tasks in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

· 3-5yrs Experience in contract administration, vendor management, or commercial risk roles

· Strong working knowledge of contractual risks, including indemnification, insurance requirements, and limitation of liability clauses

· Experience supporting or coordinating claims with brokers or insurance carriers

· Excellent attention to detail and document control

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally with Legal, Finance, Operations, and third parties
