About Us:
Kirby Sanitation is a leading trash management company dedicated to community cleanliness and sustainability.
Position Overview:
We seek a skilled Tier 3 Diesel Mechanic/Technician with at least 5 years of experience for our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will handle anything from PMs to complex repairs while managing time effectively.
Responsibilities:
•
Perform preventive maintenance
•
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
•
Use company programs for paperwork and job reporting.
•
Communicate with team members about ongoing projects.
•
Support and mentor Tier 1 technicians.
•
Ensure safety and environmental compliance.
•
Commit to continuous learning and skill development.
Qualifications:
•
5+ years in diesel.
•
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
•
Detail-oriented with effective communication abilities.
•
Ability to use computer programs for tasks.
•
Own tools required; familiarity with trash trucks is a plus.
•
CDL is desired but not required.
