Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Project Manager to oversee electrical construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical systems, project management, and construction estimating. This role requires effective communication and negotiation skills to manage project budgets, timelines, and team dynamics while ensuring compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety standards.
Duties
•
Manage all phases of electrical projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
•
Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, and resource allocation.
•
Collaborate with clients, contractors, and team members to facilitate smooth project execution.
•
Utilize software tools such as ACCUBID for project documentation and estimating.
•
Conduct site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure adherence to safety regulations.
•
Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers to secure favorable terms.
•
Prepare detailed construction estimates based on project specifications and requirements.
•
Ensure compliance with NEC standards throughout the construction process.
•
Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, fostering a collaborative work environment.
Experience
•
Proven experience in electrical project management within the construction industry.
•
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, construction estimating practices, and relevant codes (NEC).
•
Proficiency in using software tools
•
Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to manage contractor relationships effectively.
•
Experience working on construction sites with a clear understanding of safety protocols.
•
Ability to build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
