Job Classification and Hours:

Full-Time, Salaried Position, Competitive benefits package including profit sharing.

The Assistant Project Manager / Estimator will coordinate and guide commercial painting jobs through the bidding, scheduling and execution stages, and serve as the focal point for communication among the various parties involved. He or she will service all prospective customers with the objective of meeting their project needs and building customer relationships for life. Develop a close working relationship with the General Contractor, Project Managers/Supervisors, and the painting crews to ensure all expectations set forth. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

•

Ensure assigned project(s) are kept on schedule and within budget while meeting clients’ needs and delivering a quality project.

•

Plan, schedule, and coordinate painting projects from “estimated” to “completed,” (managing multiple projects simultaneously).

•

Generate manpower schedules and plans of operation for painting projects.

•

Schedule awarded subcontracts, purchase orders and change orders as needed.

•

Identify potential issues and ensure timely decisions are made.

•

Ensure proper document control and record keeping.

•

Ensure accuracy in estimates and job costing.

•

Will perform estimating take-offs.

•

Attend pre-bid walk-throughs and contractor meetings

Qualifications: The responsibilities listed above describe the duties that the Assistant Project Manager / Estimator will perform, and each one needs to be completed satisfactorily to ensure project success! The knowledge, skill and/or abilities required to execute these duties are listed below:

Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year commensurate on experience
