Electrical Superintendent - Commercial

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Commercial Electrical Superintendent to manage our larger commercial projects. This role involves overseeing all aspects of electrical work on-site, ensuring safety, quality, and project timelines are met.

Responsibilities:

•

Manage daily activities on commercial construction sites, including project oversight and safety compliance.

•

Supervise electricians and helpers, monitor work quality, and ensure adherence to project plans and layouts.

•

Read and interpret plans, specifications, and submittals accurately.

•

Train and enforce safety protocols and procedures among the team.

•

Troubleshoot electrical problems and diagnose issues effectively.

•

Ensure materials and equipment are ordered and delivered on time to meet project requirements.

•

Maintain project schedules and ensure deadlines are met.

•

Coordinate with project managers and other stakeholders to address challenges and maintain progress.

Qualifications and Experience:

•

Proven scheduling experience in construction projects.

•

Experience in a lead or supervisory role.

•

Strong knowledge of electrical and building codes.

•

Hands-on electrical field experience.

•

Ability to interpret wiring diagrams, including lighting controls and building automation systems.

•

Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.

•

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

•

Valid driver’s license.

Preferred Skills:

•

Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Procore, or similar software).

•

Understanding of emerging electrical technologies or renewable energy systems.
