ENGINEERING DOCUMENT CONTROLLER

Responsibilities and Duties:

•

Provide administrative and technical services to assist the Engineering Department.

•

Management of all Engineering documentation and document flow.

•

Maintain complete confidentiality within the office structure pertaining to any company and customer business.

•

Maintain up-to-date project documentation in hard copy and electronically.

•

Produce transmittals for shop issue packages as required to meet production demands.

•

Access shared and customer sites to retrieve and upload documents as necessary to support projects.

•

Assist in the creation and compilation of product and quality manuals.

•

Assist the Sales Department with proposals, job folders, sales meetings and general control of sales documents.

•

Assist the Project Planner with the creation, maintenance and monitoring of the project schedules using MS Project.

•

Assist the Project Planner in the scheduling meetings at various points in the project.

•

Track required documentation of project through schedules to ensure deliverables are not missed.

•

Other tasks, projects and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

•

Post-secondary diploma or degree in a relevant field of study and/or minimum 2 years' experience in a similar position.

•

Demonstrated exceptional organization and time management skills.

•

Strong verbal and written English communication skills.

•

Fundamental knowledge of mechanical design would be an asset.

•

Proficient computer skills with an emphasis on MS Office.

•

Working experience in SolidWorks would be considered an asset.

•

Able to handle multiple projects and activities simultaneously

•

Able to work independently or in a team environment

•

Demonstrate a high level of integrity and trust

•

Demonstrate composure under pressure

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00-$24.00 per hour
