Entry Level Technician

The Entry Level Technician (T1) will perform basic technical duties under close supervision, following standardized procedures. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for candidates looking to gain experience in technical services, engineering support, and field operations.
Key Responsibilities:
•
Assist in preparing uncompleted or repetitive drawings as part of engineering and maintenance projects.
•
Maintain and organize technical drawing files and project documentation.
•
Support field surveys and data collection under direct supervision.
•
Follow standardized procedures and protocols for technical tasks.
•
Perform routine duties with limited independent judgment.
•
Work collaboratively with engineers, technicians, and project teams.
Requirements:
•
Diploma or certificate in engineering technology, drafting, or a related technical field.
•
Entry-level experience or relevant coursework in technical drawing, CAD software, or field surveying.
•
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standardized procedures.
•
Basic knowledge of engineering drawings, documentation, and technical reporting.
•
Willingness to learn and develop skills in a highly regulated nuclear environment.
•
Ability to work on-site at Point Lepreau Nuclear Generating Station and comply with safety protocols.
