The Great Bear project is a development-stage asset located in the renowned and prolific Red Lake mining district, and represents one of the most exciting recent gold discoveries globally. The project has excellent potential to become a top-tier deposit that could support a large, long-life mine complex. Kinross’ comprehensive exploration and development program will aim to support the vision of a quality, high-grade, open-pit mine and a longer-term, sizeable underground mine.
You will be responsible for assisting the Environmental team at the Great Bear project. This position will require training within the department while continuously aligning daily functions to reflect Kinross' value.
This position will be offered to a student going into their 2nd, 3rd or 4th year of an Environmental Program. Must provide proof of enrollment in a post-secondary institution on a full-time basis and be returning to school in the fall.
This position is a 5X2 schedule, and is based in Red Lake, Ontario.
