Position Highlights
As Executive Vice President, Operations, you’ll lead the team that keeps the lights on for more than four million people
across the province. The portfolio includes oversight for Stations and Line Field Operations, Generation and Transmission &
Distribution System Operations, Program and Contracts Management, Construction Services, and Distribution Design &
Customer Connections.
Reporting directly to the President and CEO, you’ll oversee the operation and maintenance of critical energy infrastructure,
ensuring BC Hydro reliably delivers safe, sustainable, and cost-effective electricity to British Columbians. This role carries
direct accountability for 3,000 IBEW, MoveUp, and M&P employees located regionally across the province, $300M in annual
operating expenditures, and $1B in maintenance and capital delivery.
